Admissions Process

What Does Our Admissions Process Look Like?

Asking for help is not always easy. Soulful Recovery attempts to make the lives of every person seeking treatment easier through the 4 simple steps described below.

1. Call the phone number or write an email to the information provided under Contact Us. One of our admissions team members will reach out to you via phone or email.

2. We will conduct an intake assessment to see if our program is a good fit for your needs. If we are not, we will point you in the direction of a program that can help you or your loved one.

Please have your insurance information available. This allows us to run a verification of benefits (VOB) so we can discuss the financial costs of treatment.

3. If appropriate, our team will schedule an in-person intake appointment to better understand your clinical needs and develop your personalized treatment plan.

4. We will review your client contract and have you sign forms related to expectations, privacy, consent to treat, etc. Once completed, we will schedule your first therapeutic sessions with one of our qualified therapists.

Covering the Cost of Treatment

Just like treatment plans that need to be customized to an individual, everyone handles covering the costs associated with treatment according to what works best for your situation. We have found that while insurance is often a primary option and a great facilitator for covering costs, due to the wide array of individual circumstances, it can sometimes be helpful to offer alternative choices for payment.

We are committed to facilitating a recovery treatment plan that works, and we are also committed to helping you sort through the best financial option for covering that treatment. Please do reach out to speak with one of our admissions specialists if you have any hesitation about what would be best for your circumstance. We have helped so many individuals find a payment option that works, and we’re here to help you find your way with this too.

Your Choices for Financing Treatment:

Private Pay

“Private Pay” is the term used for any payment where the client personally covers the costs of treatment. This option can be utilized when a client is un-insured (or under-insured), when payment is still necessary due to high deductibles on insurance plans, or if a need for discretion is a client’s priority. Regardless of why one might choose to cash pay, we can accept cash, check, venmo, or credit card and have some flexibility surrounding payment timelines. Please reach out to us to talk through this route, and especially if you are unsure of what might be best for your situation.

Utilizing Insurance Benefits

Utilizing your insurance benefits is by far the most common way to cover the cost of treatment. Luckily, our society is becoming increasingly more aware and receptive to the struggles of substance use disorders, and treatment allowances can sometimes fully cover the costs of recovery care. Since oftentimes insurance benefits can be the best way to proceed with treatment, we have an insurance verification process that can streamline this part of admissions. You can learn more about insurance verification and review that form on our Insurance Verification page.

We invite you to Contact Us at any point to help navigate the admissions
process or to answer any questions you have regarding financing options.
