FAQ’s

Here Are Some of our Frequently Asked Questions:

What are levels of care?

Levels of care are the designations for different types of addiction treatment. Most notably, there are intensive inpatient (detox), residential inpatient, partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient, and outpatients programs. Soulful Recovery currently provides partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient and outpatient services.

How long does treatment last?

The length of treatment varies by person and by service. For your reference, we have included the average length of treatment for each of our services. Partial hospitalization program (PHP) typically lasts 2-4 weeks. Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) will usually last anywhere from 90-180 days. Outpatient programming (OP) will likely last an additional 90-180 days. Again, all treatment times vary and are strictly based on the individual’s needs.

What if I relapse while in treatment?

Soulful Recovery treats relapse events on a case by case basis. Our leadership team is of the mindset that if you were in remission from cancer and it came back, your doctor would provide you with treatment options. Substance use treatment should be no different. With that said, each client and event will be addressed on a case by case basis. If it’s determined that you need a higher level of care, our team will help make the arrangements to find an appropriate program.

What should I bring to group therapy sessions?

We suggest that all of our clients bring: water, snacks (if you experience allergies), a notebook, pencils/pens. We provide some of these resources on site but for your first day, you should bring all these items so you are fully prepared. For our adventure group therapy sessions, we will provide you with a list either through email or in person a few days before each event. Since our activities change week to week, the items you will need to bring will change as well.

What if I don’t have insurance?

If you or your loved one do not have insurance or we cannot take your insurance policy, we can do one of three things. Firstly, we offer a cash pay option. If this is something that might be within your means, contact our admissions team to learn more about our rates. Secondly, we can apply for a single case agreement if there are not any treatment resources in your area. Lastly, we occasionally offer part or full scholarships depending on the client and their needs.
